WHAT DO YOU CATEGORISE AS YOUR SENSE OF FASHION?
To be honest - I do not think I can categorise my sense of fashion as
anything in particular. There will be people out there who will say they place
their fashion inspiration to some silly celebrity but personally it depends on me,
my personality and how I want to portray myself to the world. Though, I will
say I loved the look of the 1950s. I would dress myself up in those sorts of
skirts and dresses all-day - EVERYDAY! But fashion has come so far since then.
I am quite conservative in my dress sense but my signature look is
definitely skater skirts, dresses and stockings. I am a sucker for polka dots
and anything red.... OBVIOUSLY! But I am not about textures or patterns. My looks
are usually monochrome, complementary and colour blocking.
If I had a favourite season, I would say that I am made for Autumn/Winter
because I love layering with oversized coats and blazers. But, during Summer
all I wear are a good pair of jeans and a decent top or a nice maxi skirt/dress. Overall - everything is dependent on my mood for the day.
For shoes I am the type of person to like a type of shoe and probably
get it in the basic colours of white, black, grey, brown and navy ha - BORING!
But with heels and wedges I definitely try and find something unique, bold
coloured and eye catching. I do like a good wedge boot though….
